Cheremnovsky Sugar Plant in for $16.5m overhaul

Moscow-based sugar and dairy products manufacturer Dominant has announced $16.5m plans to overhaul its Altay krai Cheremnovsky Sugar Plant subsidiary.

The firms CEO Vadim Tyapkin said that under reconstruction the plants production areas would be expanded and new equipment installed.

As a result the factorys daily production capacity would increase by 1.5 times to 4,500 tons of sugarbeet, Mr. Tyapkin added.
