Altay Spring to build water plant in the Republic of Altay

23 Jun '11
Water company Altaysky Istochnik (Altay Spring) intends to invest $9m building a spring water bottling plant in the Republic of Altay, news agency RIA Novosti reports.

The plant is reportedly to be located near the villages of Elikmanar and Uznezya in the region’s Chemalsky district.

The complex won’t have any industrial production facilities and won’t damage the district ecology. Under plans, the plant is to bottle natural spring water rich with silica, selenium and silver.

Construction of the plant is scheduled to last two years.
