Altaytara to invest $10m in production development

Altay region package producer Altaytara has announced plans to invest about $10m in its production facilities development.

Under plans, the funds are to be invested into development of facilities to produce corrugated package and to launch a new line to produce paper bags.

As a result of the investment, the plants corrugated package production annual capacities are to double from 30 to 60 million square meters, and paper bags production capacities are to total 6 million bags monthly.

The project is scheduled to be carried out in Q1 2012.
