Austria’s WPZ to build $16m dry mixtures plant in Leningrad region

Austrian group Wietersdorfed andf Peggauer Zementwerke GmbH (WPZ) intends to invest $15.7m building a plant to produce dry building mixtures in Leningrad region, regional officials report.

The plant, to be located in the region’s Volosovsky district, is reportedly to create 45 local jobs.

The plant’s projected annual capacity is 120,000 tons of mixtures.

The factory opening is scheduled for March 2011.
