St. Petersburg to invest $6.6m in bread baking

Authorities in St. Petersburg have announced plans to invest $6.6m setting up production of bread products in 2011.

Under plans, the city authorities are to either build a new bakery or purchase bread making facilities.

The complex is reportedly to bake the so-called “social bread”.
