Voronezhsintezkauchuk to expand production of thermoplastic rubber

Voronezh chemical rubber producer Voronezhsintezkauchuk has announced plans to build a complex to produce thermoplastic elastomer.

Investment in the project has yet to be disclosed.

The new complexs projected annual capacity is 50,000 tons of rubber. As a result, the plants overall annual capacity is to grow more than twice to 85,000 tons of elastomer.

New production is scheduled to be launched in 2012.

Voronezhsintezkauchuk is a part of SIBUR Holding.
