Vladivostok’s 150th Anniversary to cost $6.5m

Authorities in the city of Vladivostok, Primorsky region, have announced plans to spend a total of over $6.5m to prepare the city for celebration of its 150-year Anniversary.

Under plans, the funds are to be spent on the city territories development, as well as organization of a celebration program.

The celebration is reportedly to last three days – in July 2-4, 2010.
