$395m Tomsk anti-crisis program

Authorities in Tomsk region have drawn up a $395m anti-crisis measures program to be carried out in 2009, regional officials report.

Of the total funds, $235m is reportedly to be assigned from the federal budget, with the remainder to be put up be regional authorities.

The program consists of 120 measures, including measures to maintain employment and create new jobs, state support of small and medium businesses, promotion of innovation systems development, and others.
