Novgorod Region fund to support creative economy

A new Fund for Creative Economy has started operation in Veliky Novgorod, in North West of Russia, Firrma.ru reported.

The fund is expected to provide grant and credit support for start-ups which the projects developers say are based on new technology, intellectual labor, and applied creativity.

The new entity will focus on start-ups in the fields of IT, fashion and design. Vice Governor of the Novgorod Region Evgeny Bogdanov was quoted as saying that it is going to be sponsor money that will keep the fund afloat.
