11 Mar '14
The authorities of the Republic of Adygeya, a small region in the Northern Caucasus, have put together a unified database of regional innovation projects, the regional Ministry of Economic Development and Commerce announced on its website.
The database contains information about both completed and recently launched innovative research at both scientific/educational entities and commercial companies/industries. This website section is expected to be updated on a regular basis to include reports on the demand that local entities and organizations have for innovative solutions.
“The main purpose for this activity is to create in the region a kind of favorable information environment to promote the development of innovation at companies, organizations, and government bodies,” the Ministry explained.
The unified database is also expected to help align the need for innovation that government entities and industrial players have with the plans and ideas that regional scientists develop.
