Kabardino-Balkaria’s$5.5m anti-unemployment program

Authorities in the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria have approved a $5.5m program of additional measures to fight unemployment for 2011, regional officials report.

Of the total funding, 95% is reportedly to be allocated from the federal budgets, and 5% is to be put up by regional authorities.

Under plans, the funds are to be spent on professional training programs, organization of internships for university graduates, employment support for people of disabilities and parents of disabled kids and large families.
