TechCrunch, one of the world’s most visited IT blogs, has announced its TechCrunch Europe meeting to be held on December 13 in Moscow on the premises of the Krasny Oktyabr confectionery.
The event is part of an official program highlighting the opening of Russia’s first-ever privately owned techno-incubator for start-ups. The Kite Ventures Foundation is one of the co-hosts of the meeting.
According to TechCrunch, its agenda will include a broad range of issues from supporting start-up investing to bringing international investors into the Russian market with the latter’s global integration and competitiveness of domestic innovation products.
Participants will also reportedly discuss the setting-up of a community of Russian innovators and entrepreneurs with the task of promoting Russian innovational globally.
Representatives of leading innovative firms are expected to participate; interesting Russian start-ups will also be showcased, the hosts say.
