Amurmetal’s $106.5m “Sberbank” loan posted

11 Jun '09
Metal-roll producer Amurmetal in Komsomolsk-on-Amur will get a $106.5m bail-out loan, Khabarovsk Governor Vyacheslav Shport said today.

It is reportedly Sberbank that will probably provide the loan. No specification has been given. According to Mr. Shport, RF Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is closely monitoring the situation at the company.

Marchmont reported yesterday that the Khabarovsk Regional Court of Arbitration would hear an Amurmetal bankruptcy petition.
