5 Mar '09
Kamchatka region Solid Bank and Incubator Bank of Japan have inked a memo of intent for loaning Russian small and medium-sized business, Kommersant reported today, citing Solid Bank sources.

According to the sources, the Japanese bank is primarily interested in lending to Primorsky and Khabarovsk regional companies that purchase Japanese goods and materials.

Analysts regard the terms of the deal as quite realistic and acceptable in the midst of the domestic credit crunch, Kommersant reports.
