Yakutia to get $525m loan with World Bank

Authorities in the Republic of Yakutia have announced plans to take out a $350-$525m loan with the World Bank.

The loan is reportedly to be secured with guarantees by the RF Government, further loan details have yet to be disclosed.

Under plans, the funds are to be used to finance a program to put down slum housing, deemed beyond repairs, in the region.
