US-Russia Center for Entrepreneurship is holding on June 23, 2011 in Moscow its annual Entrepreneur as a Leader in Business and Science conference.
The event aims to provide entrepreneurs with a venue to discuss effective corporate governance in growing companies and share the best practices in IT, personnel management and raising capital. It is also an opportunity to look at entrepreneurship as a driver in society’s economic and social advancement, a sort of ‘social contract’ between a business person and the environment he or she operates in.
The target audiences include company owners seeking to effectively grow their businesses, get knowledge, do networking, and actively participate in solving Russia’s social problems.
In the morning session Dr. Ray Smilor, a high-profile international expert in entrepreneurship, will talk about management of growing companies and how to make leadership sustainable.
Conference participants will then be able to discuss the use of information technologies in a growing business and take part in a special session on search for talent and raising capital. Another discussion will focus on a leadership role in society’s social life.
The event will take place in Russian and English on June 23 at Radisson Royal Hotel (Ukraine Hotel). Simultaneous translation will be provided.
For entrepreneurs from within the Moscow region the participation fee is RUR6,000 (incl. VAT); for Russians from outside the area it is RUR4,800 (incl. VAT).
