New VC fund launched to back big data and IoT

The management of GVA LaunchGurus Fund 1, L.P, a Russian-led VC fund, has recently launched Viaduct Ventures Fund 1. A combination of a seed fund and start-up acceleration program, the new $50m entity will reportedly channel its investment activity into support of innovative companies across Eastern Europe as they seek entry into Silicon Valley.

The fund will focus on projects in big data, the Internet of Things (IoT), fintech, and also e-medicine.

GVA LaunchGurus has years of experience in backing and developing from the ground up SME teams, entrepreneurs, and investors.
