Stryapuninskaya to build $8m pig complex in Perm region

Agricultural firm Stryapuninskaya intends to invest $8m building an automated pig breeding complex in Perm region, regional officials report.

The technological equipment for the complex is reportedly to be supplied by Czech company Agrico.

The pig complex for 15,000 heads is to be built in Stryapuninskoye village in the region’s Krasnokamsky district, officials said.

The project is scheduled to be carried out in 2011.
