Baksan-Broiler to invest $6.8m in projects in Kabardino-Balkaria

Poultry firm Baksan-Broiler intends to invest $6.8m building an incubator and poultry breeding facilities in the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, regional officials report.

The facilities are reportedly to be located in the regions Prokhladnensky district.

Under plans, the company is to build an incubator with annual capacity of 18 million chickens and six facilities with capacity of 150,000 poultry heads.

The facilities are scheduled to be put into commission in July-August 2010.
