Greenhouse operator Tomskzelenstroy intends to invest $13.5m building a modern greenhouse complex in Tomsk region, regional officials report.
The four-hectare complex is reportedly to be built in the village of Trubochevo in Tomsk municipal district.
The complex’s projected annual capacity is 70-80 kilograms of cucumbers from one square meter and 25-30 kilograms of tomatoes from one square meter.
Construction of the greenhouse is scheduled to start in 2011, with the first vegetables to be picked by February 2012.
