Pskov Region is considering an “agro-towns” project to attract labor into local agriculture areas, regional officials said today.
An “agro-town” is a reportedly new type of suburban settlements that will have social and economic infrastructure to ensure high living standards for its residents working there.
According to the officials, such settlements will be founded next to sizable agribusinesses.
The project cost is a reported $2.4m.
