Gazprom to spend $8.4m on Kalmykia gasification

Gas giant Gazprom is to spend another $8.4m by the end of the year to continue gasification works in the Republic of Kalmykia, regional officials report.

Eight more villages in the region are reportedly to get gas under the program.

Eight distribution gas pipelines 140 kilometers are to be built between the villages to supply gas to 1,379 households and 14 boiler houses.
