Authorities in Perm region’s Krasnokamsk district have announced plans to build a $36.5m water pipe to supply water to the city of Krasnokamsk from an underground water spring in Nytva.
The project is reportedly to be carried out under private-public partnership (PPP) with four investors – Moscow’s geology exploration company Nefte-Gaz Poisk and Perm firms – ecological foundation Na Dele, Podryad and Sun Way.
Under plans, the district authorities are to invest $3.3m in the project, with the remainder to be raised from the investors.
Under plans, residents in Krasnokamsk and Nytva are to get the water from the spring in late 2010.
