OGC-3 to build $320m Dzhubga power station in Tuapse

Power generating company OGC-3 has announced plans to invest $320m building Dzhubga TPS thermal power station in Krasnodar region.

The power station is reportedly to be located in the village of Defanovka in Tuapse district and is to cover energy deficit in Sochi power facilities during Olympics-2014.

The station, with power capacity of 80 MW, is to have two gas turbine units and is to use natural gas fuel, the firm said.

The station is scheduled to be put into commission in mid-2013.
