Barnaul Vodokanal to spend $2.6m on repairs

Barnaul water supplier Barnaulsky Vodokanal is to spend a total of $2.6m in repairs and reconstruction of its facilities in 2009, the company reports.

The funds are reportedly to be spent on modernization of filters in disposal facilities, pump stations, water pipes and sewage systems, as well as water supply system development in the village Yuzhny and construction of water towers in the villages of Vlasikha and Lebyazhye.

Barnaulsky Vodokanal is a part of national water grid operator Rosvodokanal.
