Omskenergo to invest $5.4m in repairs

Omsk region energy supplier Omskenergo has announced plans to invest a total of $5.4m in repairs of its energy facilities in the region.

In H1 2009 the company reportedly spent $2.9m on repairs, down 5.7% on the same period of last year.

The funds were used to make revamps at nine substations and to overhaul 1,115-kilometer power lines, the firm said.

Omskenergo is a part of interregional distribution grid company MRSK Siberia.
