SUPC announces $16.7 grid project for south Tumen

The Siberial-Ural Power Company has announced plans to invest $16.7m into the development of a grid complex in the south of Tumen region in 2008.

The firm said the project would involve building and rebuilding existing grids in the Tuman, Tobolsk, Yalutorovsk, Zavodukovsk and Ishim areas.

It is the first time specific details of the move have been announced by the firm, which is a member of power giant TENKOM.
