The Regional Center of Energy Saving and Increasing Energy Efficiency started working in the Republic of Khakassia, the website of the Commission on modernization and Technological Development of the Economy of Russia reports.
The first meeting of the specialists of the Center and the State Committee on Tariffs and Energy of the Republic of Khakassia was reportedly held in the Center.
After introducing the specialists of the recently set up Center, the participants of the meeting defined future plan of action.
The main goal of the Energy Saving Center is correction of the regional program “Energy saving and increasing energy efficiency in the Republic of Khakassia till 2020” in order to prepare it for raising finance from the federal budget. The final version of the program must be submitted into the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation by January 15, 2012.
In order to achieve the set goal, by the end of this year the specialists of the Center will visit districts of Khakassia and assess energy saving efforts there, as well as provide consulting advice and set priorities of work in this field, the State Committee on Tariffs and Energy of the Republic of Khakassia said.
The regional energy saving program includes energy saving schemes and programs in all municipalities of Khakassia.
Another field of operation of the Center will be monitoring of regional efforts in energy saving and increasing energy efficiency.
The set goals are to be worked on jointly by the specialists of the Regional Center of Energy Saving and the State Committee on Tariffs and Energy of the Republic of Khakassia.
