ZSGK to invest $260m in eight hydro stations in Altay region

West-Siberian Hydrogenerating Company (ZSGK) intends to invest about $260m building a cascade of mini-GES hydro power stations in Altay region, regional officials report.

Under plans, the funds are to be invested into construction of eight mini-stations at the Peschanaya river.

The first of the eight stations is scheduled to be built by 2015.

Further timeframes for the project, as well as other project details, have yet to be disclosed.
