Sberbank’s $295m South-West power announced

Sberbank can loan St. Petersburg’s South-West (Yugo-Zapadnaya) power station project $295m, the bank said today.

The total cost of the project is a reported $970m.

The station’s first stage is to be put into operation in Q4 2010, the bank said.

The project is expected to start operating in full swing by late 2013.

Its projected capacity is 570MW for electricity and 660GCal/h for heat.
