Sakhalinenergo’s $30m 2009 energy repairs unveiled

16 Sep '09
Sakhalin regional energy supplier Sakhalinenergo has plans to invest $30m in equipment overhaul by the year end, CEO Igor Butovsky announced earlier today.

This year’s program is much larger than 2008’s, Mr. Butovsky emphasized, as worn-out equipment needs major repairs.

The company has reportedly completed 70% of the work planned for 2009.
