MES East to spend $26.5m on repairs in 2011

Interregional grid company MES East has announced plans to spend over $26.5m on energy equipment repairs in 2011.

Under plans, the funds are to be used to repair 9,000 transformer facilities, seven reactor wires, 183 switches, 1,503 disconnect devices of various classes and voltages and other facilities.

MES East is a part of national grid operator FSK UES.
