Biography

Born August 25, 1949 in Prague, Czechoslovakia. Father Olli Vallila, a Finnish diplomat there. Mother Rose, a Czech national.
Emigrated to the USA in 1956 with mother and younger sister. Naturalized US citizen in 1961.
Attended Stanford University, California 1967-71. Graduated in Anthropology.
MBA from University of Chicago Booth. Graduated in 1976 with specialization in International Business.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
International Business Machines (IBM): 1977 to 1992. New account sales representative for the General Systems Division selling small computers to businesses in downtown Chicago. Followed by management jobs in International operations that included positions in New York, Paris, Research Triangle Park, NC.
Established own consulting company Virtual Pro Inc. 1992 to specialize in Russian technology commercialization via Finland. Subsequent founder of Buddha Biopharma Oy Lt. (Finland), 2007; HeywusUSA (US) 2009; Fuzzy Chip LLC (Singapore) 2010.
