Kvadra to build $52.4m gas turbine at Kaluga power station

Generating company Kvadra has announced plans to invest $52.4m building a gas turbine at Kaluga TPS power station.

Under plans, the turbine is to include a gas turbine unit manufactured by US company GE, waste heat boiler produced by Barnaul Boiler Equipment Plant, and booster compressor station, supplied by Swiss Enerproject Sa.

The gas turbines projected power capacity is 31 MW.

Timeframes for the project have yet to be disclosed.
